Sundhöllin swimming pool closed this summer - reopens in autumn

The beautiful Sundhöllin indoor pool in central Reykjavik closes this summer due to construction work. This autumn it's set to reopen with a new outdoor pool area.
At the moment the old pool house is being connected to the new facilities and the men's changing rooms are also being renovated.
The addition to Sundhöllin should open at the beginning of October and it's also the first project undertaken by the City of Reykjavik to receive an environmental certification.
The pool closes for the summer on June 10th.
The new outdoor pool area will be to the right of the old building.
