First Kling and Bang exhibition at the new Marshall house opens Saturday
Slæmur félagsskapur or Bad Company is an exhibition by eight young Icelandic artists, most of whom graduate last year. It takes place at the Kling and Bang exhibition space at the brand new Marshall building which also opens its doors this weekend.
The artists exhibit works in different mediums such as paintings, sculpture, video and perfomance art. They are: Árni Jónsson, Ásgerður Birna Björnsdóttir, Berglind Erna Tryggvadóttir & Rúnar Örn Marinósson, Hrefna Hörn Leifsdóttir & Sarah Rosengarten, Leifur Ýmir Eyjólfsson and Melanie Ubaldo.
Exhibition directors are Daníel Björnsson and Ingibjörg Sigurðardóttir. The exhibition opens at 2 pm on Saturday and there will also be a performance by Berglind Erna Tryggvadóttir & Rúnar Örn Marinósson where they cook crepes and offer them to guests.
