A fantastic line-up of concerts in Reykjavik tonight
Icelandic rock band Fufanu will be playing at
Kex Hostel
in central Reykjavik tonight and admission is free, and later on tonight you can catch the curious and wonderful Skelkur í bringu featuring Steinunn Harðardóttir aka DJ Flugvél og Geimskip.
Fufanu are a relative newcomer on the Icelandic rock scene and their first album, Few More Days to go, released on One Little Indian received great reviews internationally and was named one of the records of the year by NME and The Guardian. Their next album, Sports is due to be released in February. The concert at Kex Hostel begins at 9 pm.
Skelkur í bringu is an entertaining, very noisy art rock outfit fronted by the talented Steinunn Eldflaug Harðardóttir who is best known for her solo project DJ Flugvél og Geimskip. They will be performing at
Gaukurinn
in central Reykjavik at 11 pm after performances by bands Tófa and Dead Herring.
