Of Monsters and Men release new song to support refugees

One of Iceland's most famous bands, Of Monsters and Men, have released a poignant video to accompany their song "We Sink" dedicated to the people risking a life threatening journey to flee their homes in search of a better future. 

The video was exclusively premiered on The Huffington Post. According to the Huffington Post, the band reached out to members of the Red Cross in Iceland who connected them with refugees in their home country to be featured in the video. 

“They, like most of us, have stories of love, pain, family, loss and happiness. But unlike many of us, they also have a stories of needing to leave their home countries in search of a safe place to live,” the band said in a statement to HuffPost, in conjunction with the Red Cross and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. “Something that should be a given for all of us and sadly isn’t.”
