Parkas adorned with the outlines of Iceland

Guðrún Lárusdóttir, director of product development at Icelandic outdoor clothing company Cintamani designed a new range called Iceland inspired by the outlines of the country.
Lárusdóttir, who previously worked as a designer for Nikita says that the Cintamani label wanted to emphasise the fact that it is Icelandic. "The name Cintamani isn't very Icelandic and due to the current high interest in Iceland we wanted to stress that Cintamini is indeed from Iceland."
The parkas and overall in the Iceland print received a lot of attention at ISPO last winter and according to Lárusdóttir, several international fashion magazines have shown an interest in photographing them.
"The range appeals to a broad spectrum of people, we have everything from thick down parkas to light jackets and primaloft jackets. So it's basically everything from young people looking for a good parka for school to their grandparents, everyone will be able to find something they like."
