Bieber's Iceland concert coming up
The first crew members of Justin Bieber's Purpose tour are arriving to Iceland to begin preparing the concerts which take place on September 8th and 9th in Kópavogur.
Event manager Ísleifur Þórhallsson at Sena reveals in today's Morgunblaðið that event company Sena is currently in negotiations with another pop star of the same fame caliber as Bieber. "One could say that the gates are wide open. Now people now that anyone can be brought to Iceland to perform. Previously, it was unthinkable that one could sell so many concert tickets in such a small country. But we've proven that we can."
The Justin Bieber concert on September 9th is sold out but there are a few tickets left for standing room only for September 8th.
Asked whether Bieber's rider is a long one, Þórhallsson says that it is, but that there's nothing unusual about it. "Our staff are ambitious about making everyone feel incredible here in Iceland, to ensure that the concert is a great success."
Þórhallsson would not divulge the identity of the famous pop star they are negotiating with.
