Designer Katrín Alda Rafnsdóttir answers this weeks style questions. She's one of the two designers behind Icelandic design company Eyland jewellery. 

Do you usually wear jewellery?

"Yes, always. An old necklace with a gold cross and a silver lion which I never take off. And then I add more jewellery depending on the occasion."

Do you prefer big and bold or understated?

"Less is more when it comes to jewellery. A few statement pieces are nice but in general, understated is always nicer."

Gold or silver?

"Gold, but I've also been wearing rose gold in the last few months. "

Do you have a favourite piece of jewellery?

"Gold Safety Pin earrings from Eyland Jewellery, I wear them all the time."

Anything on your wishlist right now?

"Yes, a vintage Rolex with a silver or gold bracelet. "

Is there any piece of jewellery that you would never wear?

"I'd never wear a belly chain, but then again you never know."
