Haggis, whisky and bagpipes: Celebrate Burn's Night in Reykjavik
Scotland's national poet Robert Burns. Celebrate with a true Scottish atmosphere at Kex Hostel this weekend.
KEX Hostel will celebrate Burns Night for the fourth time on January 28th, 29th and 30th in collaboration with the Edinburgh Association in Iceland and Icelandair. Burns Night is celebrated annually in Scotland on January 25th which is the birthday of Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns.
KEX Hostel is flying over a Scottish piper and the restaurant will be serving a special menu consisting of haggis, mash, neeps and whisky sauce.
Dàimh, the Gaelic Supergroup and un-challenged champions of straight in the eye Highland music are based around West Lochaber and the Isle of Skye will play live music on all of the nights to celebrate the life and works of Robert Burns.
