Product designer Sigríður Sigurjónsdóttir and her husband Halldór Lárusson have just put their summer cottage, Bræðrasel, up for sale. The cottage is situated by one of Iceland's best salmon fishing rivers, Langá á Mýrum in Borgarfjörður, west Iceland.
Built originally as a fishing cabin in 1968 on land that spans eight hectars, the cottage measures 95 square metres excluding a shed measuring 17 square metres.
Sigurjónsdóttir has renovated the cottage somewhat, including the kitchen and the outside wooden panels.
The cottage is priced at 35 million ISK and can be seen on the real estate web of mbl.is HERE.
