Iceland’s Nordic music prize hopefuls

The Reykjavik Chamber Orchestra and Elfa Rún Krist­ins­dótt­ir are the Icelandic nominees for the 2015 Nordic Council Music Prize.

The winner will receive a cash prize of DKK 350,000 (approx. ISK 6.9 million; €47,000). The winner will be announced and the prize awarded in Reykjavik on 27 October at the annual meeting of the Nordic Council.
