Iceland film and TV revenue triples
Total revenue from the production of television and film footage in Iceland totalled ISK 15.5 billion (approx. €105 million) in 2014, a record figure.
According to information from the Association of Iceland Film Producers, the sector has seen a 300% increase in revenue from 2010.
Among the television programmes and films shot in Iceland in recent years are Noah, Interstellar, Fortitude and Game of Thrones.
