Chaplin's Modern Times at Harpa

One of the masterpieces of cinematic history, Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times, is screened at Harpa today at 3 p.m. The film, made in 1936, tells the story of Chaplin's inimitable Tramp and his attempts to make his way in an industrialised new world.
The score is beautifully played by the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in the stunning Eldborg main hall under the direction of silent film music expert Frank Strobel.
