Kurt Cobain documentary screened at Bíó Paradís

Due to popular demand, the documentary "Montage of Heck"  will be screened again this week at Bío Paradís. The critically acclaimed film is an authorized documentary on the late musician Kurt Cobain, from his early days in Aberdeen, Washington to his success and downfall with the grunge band Nirvana.

. Director Brett Morgen expertly blends Cobain’s personal archive of art, music, and never-before-seen home movies with animation and revelatory interviews from his family and closest confidantes, including his wife Courtney Love. Following Kurt from his earliest years in Aberdeen WA through the height of his fame, the film is a visceral and detailed cinematic insight into an artist at odds with his surroundings.

Bíó Paradís is Reykjavík's only art house cinema and is located downtown on Hverfisgata. The cinema has a charming in-house café and bar.
