Ten IKEA hiding-places
Over 1,300 people have already signed up on Facebook for this afternoon’s mass game of hide-and-seek in IKEA Garðabær.
The crowd will split up into groups, with one or two in each group being ‘it’ while the others disperse to hiding-places around the shop.
The event has not been officially organised by IKEA, but the management have given their permission for the game, which is scheduled to begin at 1pm, subject to a few conditions.
Hiders may not hide in storage areas, by emergency exits or in areas reserved for staff. The children’s area and ball pool are also out of bounds. IKEA will be operating a ‘you break it, you buy it’ policy.
That said, the event will be a perfect opportunity for some to discover their inner child. Our intrepid reporter Anna decided to visit IKEA and get a head-start. These are ten useful (or not so useful) suggestion for Saturday’s hide-and-seekers.
