The legendary Apparat Organ Quartet tonight!
Kex Hostel proudly present a concert tonight, Thursday, featuring the legendary Apparat Organ Quartet. The band was originally conceived by Jóhann Jóhannson as a collaborative project for a concert series by Kitchen Motors, a record label and art collective. Jóhannsson recently won a Golden Globe for the score to A Theory of Everything and was nominated for a BAFTA and a Golden Globe.
Apparat's sound is inspired by Kraftwerk-like electronics and they have described their music as "rock and roll with keyboards." The band are about to go on a tour of Canada and will be performing a couple of new songs at tonight's concert at Kex, which is free of charge and starts at 9 p.m.
