Icelandlc rock outfit Singapore Sling will be performing at Húrra tonight accompanied by masters of noise, Pink Street Boys. The concert is a part of the Reykjavík Grapevine Húrra concert series. Sling recently released their latest album, The Tower of Foronicity on Fuzz Club Records to critical acclaim and tonight's performance is set to include some of their new offerings. 

Singapore Sling have been one of Iceland's firm fixtures of rock and roll in the veins of the Jesus and Mary Chain, the Velvet Underground and 50's rockabilly for the past fifteen years or so and are heading on a tour of Europe next week. According to a tongue-in-cheek press release on the concert by The Reykjavík Grapevine, The Tower of Foronicity is an extremely professional album with good marketing opportunities internationally. "The album is accessible, mysterious and you can dance to it and it's definitaly great for radio. People from the international music business are lookng towards the band and soon it will be creating revenue and supporting the tourist industry."

Pink Street Boys are the country's youngest and most exciting rock bands famed for their very energetic, and very loud performances.

The concert starts at 10 p.m and the entrance fee is ISK 1,500.
