The weather was perfect people celebrated the passing of Christmas at the Vestmannaeyjar Thirteenth Day celebration last night.

Although the Thirteenth Day is not until Monday, it is a tradition in the Westman Islands to celebrate it on a Friday so that most people can join in the fun.

Elves, goblins and all kinds of creatures came out of hiding to celebrate with the townspeople, entertain and tease.

The Yule lads, of course, attended the gathering, all thirteen brothers along with their parents, Grýla and Leppalúði.
