Teenager in danger after stabbing
Three young people were stabbed at Skúlagata in the center of Reykjavík just before twelve o'clock last night, and one of them is in critical condition. The police have not ruled out that the attack is an attempted murder.
Later that night, one suspect was arrested at his home.
All involved are minors
The alleged perpetrator and the three victims are all minors, according to Grímur Grímsson, senior police officer of the central investigation department.
There was a big operation downtown on Culture Night yesterday, and Grímsson says in an interview with mbl.is that many people witnessed the attack. He does not reveal the gender of the victim or perpetrator in the case.

Seriously hurt
Is it suspected that this is an attempted murder?
"That's often the case just when investigating a case. When a knife is used, it can be classified as attempted murder," answers Grímsson, who notes that the victims are all alive.
One victim, on the other hand, is in danger, as the person is very seriously injured. It is still not known whether the victim and the perpetrator know each other.
Grímsson says that the attack took place at Skúlagata, but he said he could not provide more information.
