Running or not running for president?

Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir said she was on her way to the Cabinet building after the government meeting in Skuggasund 3, just now.
Little else has been talked about today than Jakobsdóttir's possible presidential candidacy, but it would be the first time that a sitting prime minister would run.
"I only need to step up to the Cabinet now. Maybe I'll see you later," said Jakobsdóttir when asked if her candidacy had been discussed at the meeting.
Other government ministers shied away from journalists' questions about the candidacy, saying Jakobsdóttir "owns the day today."
