Calls to hit back with Iceland boycott

In response to Reykjavik City Council’s recent decision to boycott Israeli products, the Israel support group StandWithUs has publicly called for a boycott of Iceland.

“Planning a vacation to Iceland? Think again. Boycott the boycotters!” a recent Facebook post reads. The Icelandic move is described as “deplorable” and “bigoted” and supporters are asked to contact the Mayor of Reykjavik directly to express their outrage.

At the time of publishing this article, the post has received over 2,000 ‘likes’ and been shared almost 1,000 times.
