Police yesterday denied entry to three foreign nationals upon their arrival at Keflavík International Airport and ordered them to leave the country.

“All had previously come to the attention of police, and it was therefore decided to refuse them entry on the grounds of public order,” the Suðurnes Police said in a short statement.

Just a few days ago, the Capital Area Police also reported having removed foreign nationals from the country.

In that case, the individuals were two men in their forties who were taken into custody after police received reports of pickpocketing near Skólavörðuholt.
