Ring road closed in two locations

The Ring Road is currently closed at Fagurhólsmýri due to severe weather, as well as on the stretch under Eyjafjöll and over Reynisfjall toward Vík, according to the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration.

Extremely slippery conditions are reported on the Ring Road through Jökuldalur, while ice or icy patches are present on most other routes in East Iceland, and snow-covered roads are reported in some areas.
