Best to Buy Bus Cards and Tickets Online

The bus company Strætó has sent out a press release, announcing its intention to close its reception at Hestháls 14, Reykjavík, starting March 23, due to the ban on public gatherings imposed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

While the ban on public gatherings is in effect, customers will not be able to purchase or pick up bus cards or tickets at Strætó’s reception. Customers who purchase bus cards or tickets online will instead get free home delivery. 

Customers who need to collect lost and found items are asked NOT to come to Strætó’s reception at Hestháls 14. Instead, they are asked to call Strætó’s lost and found at +354 540-2700 Monday through Friday, from 12:30 pm till 3 pm, or send an email to oskilamunir@straeto.is.
