Iceland Monitor asked its Facebook community to let us know where they were supporting our national football team against France last night – and we were bowled over by the results!
Commenters flooded our post with best wishes and fun photos of living rooms, offices and bars decked out with Iceland flags and plenty of food and drink! In all we received messages from 44 different countries.
Yes, from Argentina to Australia, Botswana to Bulgaria, football fans adopted Iceland as their team of choice yesterday evening, willing them to a better result than the one achieved.
