Iceland beat Norway in dream start to Euro 2016

Iceland have make the perfect start to their Euro 2016 with a 26-25 win over Norway.

The Nordic neighbours kept the scoreline close throughout the match, but the resilient blues managed to secure the upper hand by the time the final whistle blew in Katowice, Poland.

This win puts Iceland at the top of qualifying Group B, level with Croatia. Iceland lies in second place on goal difference.

Iceland’s next match is against Belarus on Sunday.
