No snow for Reykjavik at Christmas
The Iceland Met Office predicts what locals call a "red Christmas"which means no snow. The weather for the past week has been autumn-like and rain is expected on Christmas Eve.
The forecast for the week until Christmas is for calm weather until December 23rd when an area of low pressure will arrive in Iceland accompanied by sleet and rain.
The only slight bit of snow in Iceland at the moment is in North East Iceland and in Akureyri. So unless it snows this week, which is highly unlikely, there won't be a white Christmas anywhere in the country, which is unusual.
