The Iceland Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for most parts of Iceland for tomorrow and until midnight on Thursday. A storm of up to 50 metres per second is expected and roads could become impassable and flights may be disrupted as the winds are accompanied by snowfall.

All tourists travelling in Iceland need to heed these warnings says the met office who also urges people to follow road conditions carefully.  Towards the weekend, calm, cold and clear weather is expected.
