Frost descends on North East Iceland

The latest weather forecast predicts frost of up to minus 10 degrees Celsius tonight with clear skies. On the south coast however, temperatures are much warmer. 

There is a scattering of rain in South and West Iceland this afternoon and evening with temperatures around 1- 6 degrees. 

The weather forecast for the weekend is for dry, clear weather in most parts with temperatures up to 6 degrees in the south and frost of up to minus 5 in the north.
