A sunny March predicted for Iceland

Finally, some good news about the weather in Iceland. Meterologist Einar Sveinbjörnsson predicts a calm, dry and sunny month of March. 

He speculates that the circulation of westerly wind around the North Pole has been growing weaker since mid-February and that it's likely that the areas of low depression will recede and that atmospheric high-pressure areas will begin to form. 

Sveinbjörnsson says that mainland Europe however will be unusually cold in March.
