Earthquakes detected in Siglufjörður
Three earthquakes were measured at Siglufjörður in North Iceland last night and this morning. The largest earthquake measured 3.1 on the Richter scale and occurred at 05.25.
The first earthquake hit at 02.26 at a magnitude of 2.8 and the third at 05.33 also at a magnitued of 2.8.
According to the Iceland Met Office, earthquakes are sometimes felt in this area.
