Storms in West Iceland today

Storms are expected in Kjalarnes, beneath Hafnarfjall mountain, in the northern part of Snæfellnes and underneath the Eyjafjöll mountains today, and continuing this evening and into the night.
The winds are accompanied by some rain in South and East Iceland but otherwise there the country remains mostly dry.
Temperatures continue to be mild but some frost at night is to be expected.
