Sunshine for Iceland today

Today has been sunny and bright in Reykjavik and the weather is good in most parts of the country with temperatures up to 15 degrees in West Iceland.
This may seem like a low summer temperature but if you're sheltered from the wind the sun can be pretty strong, so sunscreen is advised!
The temperatures will be going up on the weekend with occasional showers of rain.
