Icelandic jewellery featured in Vogue

There's lots of stunning Icelandic jewellery available and one such brand is asa iceland.  Their necklace was featured in the latest issue of fashion bible Vogue (UK edition.)

"Vogue contacted us and wanted to feature our jewellery. It's of course a great honour and we're over the moon," explains designer Ása Gunnlaugsdóttir. 

British company Jewel Street is now selling and marketing the brand. " I suppose Vogue saw our products through Jewel Street. At the moment we're concentrating on the Norwegian market but decided to try marketing the products in Britain since we got the opportunity."

The two latest jewellery ranges are called White Frost and ii and have both been very popular. The second range is designed in cooperation with designer Hildur Steinþórsdóttir and their longterm aim is to keep cooperating with different Icelandic designers and to build up an international brand.
