The spa offers two hot tubs, filled of course with Iceland's natural geothermal water.

Reykjavik has plenty of wonderful spas that make the most of Iceland's geothermally heated water and natural skin products. In the Grand Hótel tower you'll find Reykjavik Spa, a small, elegant spa which offers luxurious pampering.

With subdued lights and stylish furnishings, its the perfect spot to relax in after a session at the gym, or you can even book it for a group of friends who want to indulge. The spa area is fitted with two hot tubs to soak in, an infrarred sauna, a steam bath and a cosy candlelit lounge where you can relax in front of the fireplace. All guests are provided with bathrobes, towels and slippers and luxurious changing rooms.

There are plenty of beauty and massage treatments available and the speciality of Reykjavik Spa are a series of themed total pampering treatments. Available in Citrus, Lavender, Coconut and Seaweed, the treatments begin with a scrub to increase bloodflow, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. Facial skin is cleansed and nourished with a mask and moisturiser and after showering, you receive a 50 minute relaxing or classic massage using fragrant, therapeutic and softening oils.

These pampering treatments are the ultimate in luxury and leave you fresh, relaxed and energised. They're also perfect as a gift.

It's best to book ahead and all information can be found on their website HERE.
