Icelandic Poldark actress meets Prince William and Kate Middleton

Actress Heiða Rún Sigurðardóttir played a part in the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Britain. The president was received by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Lancaster House and Sigurðardóttir, who plays a leading role in BBC1's Poldark performed a scene from the show.
"I was asked to perform a scene as we were part of a presentation for ITV-Global for the president," said Sigurðardóttir to Morgunblaðið. She plays the role of Elizabeth, ex-fiancée of officer Ross Poldark.
"They were all really nice, shook our hands and had a little chat," says Sigurðardóttir of the encounter.
The final episode of the first series of Poldark is aired this Sunday.
