Icelandic musician and composer Jóhann Jóhannson has been nominated for the BAFTA awards for composing the score to "The Theory of Everything," which portrays the relationship between Stephen W.Hawking and his former wife. Jóhannsson was also nominated in December for the Golden Globes for the score.
Among the other BAFTA nominees for best musical score are Hans Zimmer for Interstellar, Alexandre Desplat for „The Grand Budapest Hotel“, Antonio Sánchez for „Birdman“, Hans Zimmer and Mica Levi fyrir „Under the Skin“.
