Didn't sleep a wink

"Some people are talking nonsense, others talk even more nonsense and then there are those who just talk plain rubbish," says Torfason jokingly when asked about the quote from his son in law, Kári Jónsson, who is on the Icelandic national team in basketball, when he said that Torfason had not slept a wink all night.

"I am so excited I have butterflies in my stomach and I really don´t know if this is anxiety or excitement," says Guðmundsdóttir, the mother of Guðrún Arnardóttir.

"We are a football family, especially on the father's side of the family, and we support Guðrún all the way. We are just like this and we always have been. I think there are some people here also from the mother's side of the family, but mostly it is the father's family," says the mother.

"Life is football, that is just the way it is. I think Iceland will win 2:1, but Guðrún might not score a goal today. She will, however, score a goal in the next game against Italy, I am absolutely certain about that," concludes her father happily.
