Sterna operates Route 356 on Snæfellsnes, which circles the Snæfellsjökull-glacier, making several stops on the western part of the peninsula along the way. In the summer of 2012 a public transport system is operated within Snæfellsbær, connecting Hellissandur and Ólafsvík.
