Roald Eyvindsson is a journalist and the editor in chief of GayIceland, Iceland's news site on LGBTI+ issues and events.

Dr.Gunni is a well known Icelandic musician, journalist and author.

Sóley has supervised the event site of Iceland Monitor since February 2015, registering events and writing articles about them. She has a Master's degree in Applied studies in Culture and Communication from the University of Iceland and a BA degree in Ethnology from the same University.

Paula Gould is an executive, lifestyle and tech writer and mother living in Iceland.

Charles has worked as a journalist since February 2015, writing English-language news items for mbl.is. He has a Master’s degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University (UK) and a BA degree in Icelandic from the University of Iceland. @CharlesGittins

Roberto L. Pagani, born in Lombardy, Italy is an MA in Medieval Icelandic Studies and a PhD candidate at Háskóli Íslands in Manuscript Studies. He teaches Italian language and literature at the same university. He also works as a translator and is the author of an introductory Norwegian grammar in Italian. He is currently working at the Árni Magnússon institute on a project involving an edition of a chivalric saga.

María Erian Guðmundsdóttir is a self confessed life student, always eager to learn and try new things. Philippines-born and Iceland-raised from the age of 16, she now lives in Denmark with her family and their small dog, Louie. She recently graduated with a bachelor degree in International Sales and Marketing Management.

Her hobbies include reading (a couple of books together!), writing, going for walks in the forrest and making healthy smoothie drinks.

Bala Kamallakharan is an angel investor, serial entrepreneur and the Founder of Startup Iceland. He is the Co-Founder of Dattaca Labs and was Chairman of the Board at CLARA (Resonata), which was acquired by Jive Software in 2013. Bala’s other investments include GreenQloud (acquired by NetApp), Buuteeq (acquired by Priceline.com NASDAQ:PCLN) and various others.

Dr. Bjorn Lomborg is president of the Copenhagen Consensus Center and visiting professor at Copenhagen Business School. The Copenhagen Consensus Center is a think-tank that researches the smartest ways to do good. For this work, Lomborg was named one of TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world. His numerous books include "The Skeptical Environmentalist", "Cool It", "How to Spend $75 Billion to Make the World a Better Place" and "The Nobel Laureates' Guide to the Smartest Targets for the World 2016-2030."

Anna Margrét Björnsson is a journalist for Iceland Monitor and Mbl.is and a regular contributor to Morgunblaðið's culture section. A Reykjavik based mother of three, she lived abroad for much of her life, mostly in London, and has an extensive background in editing and journalism for media such as Iceland Review, Fréttablaðið and Sirkus Rvk. She's involved in the Icelandic music scene and has an avid interest in the arts.
