15 Oct 2018 The lawyer of former Sigur Rós drummer Orri Páll Dýrason, who quit the band recently due to rape allegations by a US artists, made demands that newspaper Stundin would abandon plans to publish an interview with the artist in question, Meagan Boyd.

16 Aug 2018 The Reykjavík District Court has rejected the demand by members of the Icelandic avant-rock band Sigur Rós to nullify a decision to freeze their assets as a security toward taxes due in the amount of ISK 800 million.

Sigur Rós is Iceland's most famous rock group. Here they are performing at the Norður og Niður festival in December.
