A huge storm hit the South-West of Iceland yesterday afternoon and last night, and created an uproar. People had trouble getting around outside and in people's homes the storm caused power outage, water damage and other trouble.

The website nutiminn.is published a video that Hlynur Hallgrímsson put on Twitter, and shows one of the many problems people had to deal with last night. Hallgrímsson who lives in an apartment building wanted to use the garbage slide, which usually lets the garbage bags slide from the upper floors down to the basement. But last night the slide wasn't able to do it's job, and the garbage bag soared up again, pushed by the heavy wind. See for yourself: Soaring garbage bag

Hallgrímsson quite enjoyed the incident, and said to nutiminn.is: "You can just imagine how startled I was when the bag just shot up for the first time!"
