Iceland’s First Lady Eliza Reid performed with rapper Tay Grin from Malawi at a charity evening for HeForShe at KEX Hostel last night. Ambassador of Brittain, Michael Nevin, also rapped with Grin along with his wife Sawako Nevin.

According to a press release from the British Embassy the event was to raise funds for reusable menstrual pads for girls in Malawi. This is to make it easier for them to attend school while they are on their periods, and will make them less likely to stop studying.

Icelandic artists Hildur, Tiny and Gísli Pálmi also performed at the event.
