Snow in North Iceland on Wednesday
Last week brought summer to Iceland, with over 20°C in many parts of the country and a number of heat records were set.
It didn’t last long. The winds will turn on Wednesday, and start blowing from the north. This will bring colder weather, and it will likely snow in north Iceland and the West Fjords.
The temperatures will be from 0-8°C around the country, according to the forecast, and it will be rather windy.
The cold weather will keep on for Thursday and will get warmer again over the weekend.
Ever changing weather is nothing too surprising to Icelanders, who are used to it as you can see in this sketch.
