Storm warning today and snowfall
The Iceland Met Office predicts a South Westerly storm today with snowfall and colder temperatures.
There are icy patches on Hellisheiði, which is part the no.1 highway between Reykjavik and Hveragerði, as well as in most roads in North and East Iceland. We urge drivers to be careful.
The Iceland Met Office also warns of very slippery walking paths.
The weather forecast for the next few days is for very changeable weather and strong wind.
