Record number of mail drug smuggling cases in one year

This year, 260 drug smuggling cases via mail occurred in Iceland. The Reykjavik Metropolitan Police investigated all the incidences. 

The largest cases were a package of steroids containing 15.394 tablets and 1.635 millilitres, a cocaine package containing 31.98 grammes and another steroid package containing 199.51 grammes.
