WOW air announces new Iceland-Cork route
Icelandic low-cost airline WOW air has announced a new route to the Irish city of Cork starting next spring.
As reported by Icelandic travel and tourism website Turisti (link in Icelandic), the airline will offer a four-times-a-week round trip. The cheapest fares according to the WOW air website are ISK 7,999 (approx. €64) in the spring and autumn and ISK 12,999 (approx. €104) in the summer, excluding booking fee and hold luggage.
WOW air currently also operates a service to the capital Dublin, while no Irish airlines yet operate to Iceland.
