First snow of the winter in Reykjavik

People of Reykjavik were surprised this morning when ithe first snow of the winter made an appearance. 

Temperatures went down last night in the capital, in Reykjanes and in Mosfellsbær which means that the rain turned into sleet and snow this morning. 

However, the slight covering of white won't last long as warmer temperatures today will make it disappear. 

Snow arrives a little later this year than usual in the capital area.
