A dozen cars driven by tourists stuck on mountain road
Rescue teams are coming to the aid of 10 - 20 cars who are stuck on Nesjavallavegur road near Þingvellir in South Iceland.
It started snowing this morning and the snow is wet and heavy.
According to the Landsbjörg association of rescue teams the tourists had abandoned the cars and were walking. Jónas Guðmundsson at Landsbjörg said that leaving a vehicle and walking in bad weather is never a good idea.
