Armed robbery in West Reykjavik
An armed robbery took place last night in the 10-11 shop at Hjarðarhagi, West Reykjavik.
According to deputy chief of police at the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police, Jóhann Karl Þórisson, a man entered the shop just before 9 pm and threatened staff with a knife and took money from the till.
The man was arrested after police went through security camera footage and is in custody.
