Euro 2016 got off a glittering stance in Paris yesterday evening and Iceland Monitor has its eyes firmly set on the fate of the Iceland men’s national team – participating for the very first time in major international football finals.

Iceland’s first game is just three days away and the boys in blue are gearing up for their Group F match against Portugal in the French city of St Étienne.

Iceland Monitor reported yesterday that almost one in ten of the entire Iceland population is travelling to France to cheer their team on through the group stage – and hopefully further!
